1. Introduction

Welcome to Express Air Conditioning. These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase of automotive air conditioning equipment from us. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Products and Pricing

We supply professional automotive air conditioning equipment including TEXA KONFORT, Robinair, Ecotechnics, and Sun machines.

⚠️ Important Payment Information:
All prices displayed on our website are exclusive of PayPal transaction fees. When you choose to pay via PayPal, a transaction fee (currently approximately 2.9% + £0.30 per transaction) will be added to the total amount. This fee is charged by PayPal and must be covered by the customer. The final amount you pay will be the machine price plus applicable VAT plus the PayPal transaction fee.

2.1 Price Accuracy

While we strive to ensure all prices are accurate, errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors before processing your order.

2.2 VAT

All prices are subject to UK VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%) unless otherwise stated.

3. Ordering Process

3.1 Placing an Order

To place an order, you may:

  • Use the "Buy Now" button on our equipment pages (PayPal checkout)
  • Contact us directly via phone or email to place an order
  • Visit our eBay store for available stock

3.2 Order Confirmation

Upon receiving your order, we will send you an order confirmation email within 24 hours. This confirms we have received your order but does not constitute acceptance. Acceptance occurs when we dispatch the equipment.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Methods

We accept payment via:

  • PayPal: Secure online payment. PayPal transaction fees apply and will be added to your total.
  • Bank Transfer: For larger orders, bank transfer may be arranged (contact us for details)

4.2 Payment Timing

Full payment is required before dispatch of equipment. For PayPal payments, payment is processed immediately upon checkout.

PayPal Fee Disclosure:
PayPal charges us transaction fees for processing payments. To maintain competitive pricing, these fees are passed on to customers choosing PayPal. The fee is calculated as a percentage of the transaction total plus a fixed fee. This will be clearly shown during the PayPal checkout process before you complete your purchase.

5. Delivery

5.1 Delivery Areas

We deliver throughout the UK. For international orders, please contact us for a quote.

5.2 Delivery Times

Standard delivery is 3-5 business days from dispatch. Express delivery options are available at additional cost.

5.3 Delivery Costs

Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size/weight of the equipment.

5.4 Risk and Ownership

Goods remain our property until full payment is received. Risk passes to you upon delivery.

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 Faulty Goods

If you receive faulty or damaged goods, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange collection and provide a full refund or replacement.

6.2 Change of Mind

Due to the specialized nature of our equipment, we do not accept returns for change of mind unless the goods are unopened and in original condition. A restocking fee of 15% may apply.

6.3 Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please note: PayPal transaction fees are non-refundable by PayPal and will be deducted from your refund.

7. Warranty

7.1 Manufacturer Warranty

All new equipment comes with the manufacturer's warranty (typically 12-24 months). Warranty claims are handled directly with the manufacturer, though we will assist with the process.

7.2 Used/Refurbished Equipment

Used or refurbished equipment is sold with a 3-month warranty unless otherwise stated.

8. Installation and Training

Equipment prices do not include installation or training unless specifically stated. We offer installation and training services at additional cost. Please contact us for a quote.

9. Limitation of Liability

Express Air Conditioning shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential losses
  • Loss of profits or business interruption
  • Damage arising from incorrect installation or use

Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the equipment.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Express Air Conditioning and protected by copyright law.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
